Mindanao Rufus Hornbill. A Filipino bird  that cannot be called the most beautiful bird in the world, but it was curious and fascinating.

The water buffalo, or carabou as it is called, is the main source of beef in the Philippines. The also use them for pulling carts and plowing the fields. This one is just enjoying a cool bath in a river.

The Uwang beetle is a coconut beetle who eats coconut trees. Harmless they said, but it scares the shit out of me when it flies past me.

A Filipino cobra. I told a neighbour I wanted to see one,,,, well, the same night he killed one for me!!!

This big wasp is also a BIG scare down there. I tend to go bananas every time one comes flying
